Quarterback

Smith or Brees?

Hahahahahahaahahhahahaha. You’re joking, right? I don’t think this one needs any type of debate whatsoever, but for the sake of the article, I’ll dive right in.

[Brees will] be in Canton once he files his retirement papers in a few years and he’s easily the best quarterback that has ever played for the New Orleans Saints.

Drew Brees is a future Hall of Fame quarterback. He’s won a Super Bowl and been to nine Pro Bowls. He’s thrown for over 4,000 yards in every season since he signed with the Saints.

While I like Alex Smith, he’s no Drew Brees.

Smith went to one Super Bowl, but was the backup in that game, and his team didn’t win it. He’s only been to one Pro Bowl and he’s usually lumped in with the “middle of the pack” quarterbacks.

Brees, on the other hand, is a top five quarterback in the NFL. He’ll be in Canton once he files his retirement papers in a few years and he’s easily the best quarterback that has ever played for the New Orleans Saints.

This one is not even close, and if you think it is, don’t tell me because I’ll probably throw things at you.

Advantage: New Orleans
