Leigh Oleszczak: The New Orleans Saints are 2-0 in their last two games after starting off 0-3. Are the Saints likely to feed off of that momentum and keep rolling or might we see a setback with this team on the road and in a “hostile” environment?

Barry Hirstius: I think that they can maintain the momentum and continue to play well, though I’m certain a few of their younger players have never experienced anything quite like Arrowhead before.

I do expect this to be a competitive game, from the standpoint that this particular Saints team seems to have an entire different mentality than the ones from 2014 and 2015, teams that were impacted by locker room issues (Junior Galette and Jimmy Graham) and absolute horrible play by free agent “busts” that never panned out (Brandon Browner).

This current team is a scrappy young bunch that never gives up, and I think they’ll be ready to play on Sunday.

Barry’s answer shows a lot of respect for the Arrowhead environment and what advantage the stadium can bring. The Saints themselves have a tremendous home field advantage inside Mercedes Benz Superdome and they’re used to playing in a loud stadium.

The difference is that this Saints team is filled with young players, none of whom have played at a place like Arrowhead. The Saints are a much different team on the road and Drew Brees hasn’t been nearly as clutch in outdoor games.
