Kansas City Chiefs: Top Five Trade Partners For Knile Davis
By Ben Almquist
Number Four: Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings may end up on the phone with the Kansas City Chiefs soon. The Vikings suffered a huge blow this week as it was confirmed that Adrian Peterson tore his meniscus. As of now, it is unclear just how long Peterson will be out. However, depending on the surgery, this could be a three month absence.
Knile Davis is not Adrian Peterson by any stretch of the imagination. However, Davis is a one-cut back and has the ability to break a big play. That may be an attractive option for the Vikings to add to their backfield.
I can’t say I’m optimistic about this one. The Vikings like their backups Mike Asiata and Jerrick McKinnon. Between those two players, I believe Minnesota will choose to tough it out until Peterson can return. It’s hard to argue that Knile Davis offers more than those two.
