Pittsburgh Steelers

Last Match-Up: Chiefs 23 – Steelers 13 (2015: Week 7)

This is the real tough one for the Kansas City Chiefs.  The Pittsburgh Steelers boast two of the best offensive weapons in the NFL for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.  Wide receiver Antonio Brown and running back Le’Veon Bell are both dominant players.  While the Chiefs did beat the Steelers last year with those two on the field, it was without Big Ben at quarterback.

The Chiefs defense will need to be able to contain the Steelers offense if there is any hope for winning this game.  The best bet for Kansas City in this game is to try and jump out to an early lead and force the Steelers to become one-dimensional.  If you can take away one of Pittsburgh’s weapons just by situation, it does severely limit their playbook.

The Chiefs can win this game, but I expect it to be a high-scoring affair.  Fortunately, the Steeler defense really isn’t that good, especially in the secondary.  The Chiefs should be able to take advantage and steadily move the ball down the field.  Keep the pressure on and force the Steelers to become one-dimensional.
