Kansas City Chiefs: First Depth Chart Breakdown – Offense
By Ben Almquist
FB – Anthony Sherman, Trey Millard
No surprise at all for the Kansas City Chiefs. Anthony Sherman is possibly the best fullback in the NFL. He’s not going to lose his job without a fight, and I can’t say that I see Trey Millard bringing much of one to him. This position also has a lot to do with Special Teams, where Sherman also excels.
I listed Anthony Sherman as a player to watch on the roster bubble because of his limited offensive role last season. I haven’t changed my mind on that, but if the Chiefs do keep a fullback this year it will be Sherman. Trey Millard’s only shot at this team is if he shows himself to be a dynamite Special Teams guy. Even then it would be an uphill battle.
