WR – Jeremy Maclin, Frankie Hammond, Tyreek Hill, DeAnthony Thomas, Kashif Moore, DaRon Brown, Seantavius Jones
At the “X Receiver” position for the Kansas City Chiefs is where we find our first real surprise. Frankie Hammond has been a bit of an afterthought in this Training Camp, so it’s surprising that he gets the nod ahead of Tyreek Hill. Hill, for his own part, has already done quite a bit to get noticed and is rightfully ahead of DeAnthony Thomas and DaRon Brown.
Jeremy Maclin and Tyreek Hill have to be considered locks for the roster at this point. Frankie Hammond, DeAnthony Thomas, and DaRon Brown all have outside shots, but it’s getting tough to see them making it. Kashif Moore and Seantavius Jones may have opportunities on the Practice Squad, but that’s about it.
