Fantasy Football Sleepers: Top 15 to Target in 2016

Fantasy Football Sleepers to Target in 2016 – Number 9: Marcus Mariota
Marcus Mariota is heading into his second year in the pros and should be more prepared for year number two.
Marcus Mariota isn’t worth taking early on, but he could be a great backup option at quarterback should your starter go down with injury or struggle.
While his rookie year wasn’t awful (2,818 yards for 19 touchdowns and ten interceptions in 12 starts), Mariota definitely has room for improvement for his sophomore season. He’ll be a great late round pick to take, but don’t plan to use him in a starting role.
Mariota had some good outings during his rookie season including a game in which he had 44 points, but he did miss the final six games of the season due to injury. Injuries and the lack of offense Tennessee has had over the years is reason enough to stay away from Mariota, but the former Oregon Duck should be able to put up big numbers this year.
For one, the offensive line looks much better this year than last. Second, the team did add some weapons for Mariota and that will help him put up more points.
