More from Kansas City Royals

Paulo Orlando

helped send the Royals and their fans into a frenzy with this big hit in the first game of a double header.

What gave one team the energy to go out and win two games that day, deflated another team and more importantly hung two ‘W’s in the win/loss column.

It was also reassuring that the Royals’ depth pieces were capable of making big contributions as only one day later they would lose Alex Gordon for two months.

"“There’s a drive! Deep to left field! Paulo Orlando and Done!…They find a way to win. they’re not playing their best but they just find a way to win.” – Steve Physioc “SLAAAAAMMMM!!!!” – Rex Hudler"

Love him or hate him, listening to Rex Hudler is nothing if not entertaining. It’s nice to hear announcers get excited about their team from time to time. Consider yourselves lucky Royals’ fans. Not every team has announcers that sound like they’re happy when their teams to well.
