The Good: Russell Hansbrough

It was hard to tell due to the lack of points, but running back Russell Hansbrough actually had a pretty good game. Hansbrough rushed for 74 yards on nine carries, which averages to about 8.2 yards per carry.

Hansbrough is definitely the best skill position player on Missouri’s offense. He was great last year when paired with Marcus Murphy. The problem for him has been staying healthy. That issue returned this weekend too, as he limped off the field at one point late in the fourth quarter.

I don’t know if Hansbrough is healthy. I don’t know if he was healthy going into the game against Florida or if he is healthy following the game. But I do know that Hansbrough is vital to the Tigers’ offense, and this team will continue to struggle if he can’t make a healthy return.
