1) San Diego Chargers, Monday Night Football (or Sunday Night Football)

The main reason I want to see this game on Monday Night Football is because of the two awesome consecutive MNF games we saw between the Chiefs and Chargers.

In 2010, the Chiefs hosted the Chargers on Monday Night Football in the late game. It was a great game between the two division rivals and was the beginning of Kansas City’s fun 10-6/AFC West title season.

In 2011, the Chiefs hosted the Chargers on Monday Night Football again, only this time it landed on Halloween. This game was one of my favorite Chiefs games of all time because of the crazy Philip Rivers fumble at the end of the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime.

Watching Philip Rivers cry is always great, but seeing it happen on Monday Night Football was even sweeter. I think if this did happen this year that it could be a potential San Diego hosted game, but that doesn’t scare me anymore, as Kansas City swept the Chargers last year.

I think some type of Chiefs/Chargers primetime match up will happen this year because both teams are strong contenders to win the AFC West this year. Yes, the Broncos are obviously a contender as well, but this is likely the year that either the Chiefs and Chargers strongly contend for that AFC West title. Who knows, maybe this will be the deciding game for the title.
