2) Houston Texans, Monday Night Football

Yet another game that would pit two potential playoff teams in the AFC against each other in what would likely be a low scoring affair.

This is a primetime game I would really like to see because it’d be two incredible defenses duking it out. It’d be the perfect type of game for a Monday night match up.

Houston will host the Chiefs this year, but I still think Kansas City would be able to come away with this one. The Texans don’t have a quarterback set in stone yet, which bodes well for the Chiefs and what should be a stellar defense.

The last time these two teams squared off was in 2013 at Arrowhead with Case Keenum starting his first NFL game. Keenum looked okay in that game, but the Chiefs’ defense were able to prevent the Texans from scoring late in the game.

Keenum, Brian Hoyer, and Ryan Mallet are the quarterbacks most likely to see the starting spot (Tom Savage is on the roster as well, but he won’t be their starter) and none of them are scary in the least bit. The scariest part of the Houston Texans team is without a doubt defensive end J.J. Watt. The Chiefs’ offensive line would have their work cut out for them in loud Reliant Stadium for a primetime game with Watt trying to tear them apart.

I could even see this game landing on a Sunday night, but more than likely, it’s Monday Night Football material.
