3) Denver Broncos, Thursday Night Football
I predict the Chiefs and Broncos will see each other again in primetime this season, but not on Sunday Night Football this time. Hopefully if this does happen, the game takes place in Kansas City because the Chiefs have not yet hosted a Thursday night game since it was brought on.
In 2012, the Chiefs traveled to San Diego, 2013 saw them traveling to Philadelphia in Coach Andy Reid‘s Homecoming, and 2014 was a disaster in Oakland. It’s Kansas City’s turn to host a Thursday night game and I think they’ll get their wish against the Broncos.
Why the Broncos? Well, they’ve faced them on Sunday Night Football the past two seasons and neither time has been as close as people would have hoped for. I don’t see the two facing off again for the third season in a row.
The Broncos and Chargers played last year on TNF and the Chiefs and Raiders played. I think it’s the Chiefs/Broncos turn for Thursday Night Football in 2015. Hopefully it’s at Arrowhead this year.
