Cyrus Gray didn’t see a whole lot of action after week three, other than on special teams. In week ten, against the Bills, Gray tore his anterior cruciate ligament, according to the Kansas City Star, and was done for the season.

Gray carried the ball just eight times, maxing out with four rushes in week three against Miami.

He had 31 yards, and one touchdown, and made three tackles on special teams.

It would be surprising if Gray is still on this roster when the 2015 regular season starts. He just hasn’t contributed much in his three years with the Kansas City Chiefs.

His production for a third string back wasn’t bad through week three, but he did not get any more chances. Getting injured and missing the last six games just highlighted the fact he is imminently replaceable.
