It is going to be cold, and possible wet with snow, Sunday in Buffalo. The Chiefs need to focus on running the ball this week. Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis need to be active, and they need to hang onto the ball in less than ideal conditions.

Buffalo has a staunch run defense, allowing just 92 yards a game, eighth best in the NFL. If Alex Smith can loosen up the defense just a little, the Chiefs can run the clock as well as run the ball.
The Chiefs are sixth in the league, averaging 137 rushing yards a game. This is obviously their strength. They must take advantage.
Andy Reid tends to outsmart himself on occasion with his play calling. He will forget to call plays for his best player for chunks of games. He cannot do that this week. The Chiefs must be consistent with the run, and they can earn a road win against a tough opponent.
