The Chiefs will travel to Oakland on November 20th (my birthday) for Thursday Night Football and will have a long week to prepare for a huge game. November 30th will pit our beloved Kansas City Chiefs against the hated Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.

Now I absolutely HATE the Broncos, but I’m terrified of them. Peyton Manning is a terrific quarterback and can do wonders on the football field. He’s going to go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game and I, for one, would love to see him play in person.

Another great part about this game is that it’s on Sunday night. The Chiefs haven’t hosted a Sunday Night football game since 2011 when the Pittsburgh Steelers came to town. Tyler Palko was the starting quarterback in that game, and it’s definitely safe to say that these Chiefs are an entirely different squad now.

Tickets right now are around $66, but if the Chiefs and Broncos are neck and neck record wise like they were last year then expect the ticket prices to soar. Last year, they were up to about $200 and those were for the “nose bleed” seats.

In other words, if I decide to attend this game, I need to decide soon because ticket prices will rise if the Chiefs play well.

Oh, also it’ll be late November and a night game so expect chilly weather.

Something to keep in mind though is that Sunday night games can be flexed, so if this no longer is a “key match-up” like both games were last year then this could be moved to a noon or 3:30 kickoff. Just FYI.
