NUMBER FOUR

This season, the traditional home white uniforms were uninspired. They just were what they were.

They featured some flashes of color here and there, but the scheme just wasn’t that appealing, especially with the home whites.

The unis had solid blue shoulders, and a ill-designed pattern up each leg. The pattern consisted of a wide line of blue up the leg shadowed by a lighter line, with dashes flowing to the back from the wide line, in increasing lengths, and alternating between blue and red.

The design just never looked quite right to me. It was more distracting than attractive.

Once Kansas broke out some alternatives in conference play, these uniforms pretty much just disappeared from the rotation. As reported by Gary Bedore of the Lawrence Journal World, and KUSports.com, Bill Self was not a fan of these unis either.

"“The uniforms we have now are probably my least favorite uniforms that we’ve had since I’ve been here, without question,” Self said. “So I wanted to make sure we got other (alternate) uniforms to wear. It’s not anybody’s fault; I agreed to it.”"

Surely, Adidas will come up with something better for next season.
