TCU is now within two wins of a bowl game… somehow. The Horned Frogs really had no business beating Iowa State Saturday but they were able to make the plays the needed to overcome their own putrid play.

Kansas State and Baylor now remain on TCU’s schedule, both games they’ll be underdogs in. Do they have enough offense to pull off the upset? Unlikely, although Kansas State is probably their best shot at getting a victory before the end of the season.

Gary Patterson is going to have to reconsider how he approaches offense in the offseason if he wants TCU to remain a competitive team within the Big 12. Mission number one: Find a quarterback.
