HALL OF VERY GOOD
9. Indianapolis Colts
Record: 5-2
Previous Ranking: 7
This is a tough team to rank after the season-ending injury to Reggie Wayne. The defense has some issues and Luck is down his biggest playmaker. How much do you trust the T.Y. Hilton–Darrius Heyward-Bey tandem? However, if you wanted to rank them fifth there would be little argument on this end. Wins over San Francisco, Seattle, and Denver are hard to argue against.
8. Green Bay Packers
Record: 4-2
Previous Ranking: 11
Like the Colts, the Packers are now reeling from injuries. Jermichael Finley had a scary injury against Cleveland that will likely end his season, Randall Cobb is gone, James Jones will be out for a while, Clay Matthews is out, and Nick Perry is injured. This is the short-list of the injuries, too.
7. Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 5-2
Previous Ranking: 10
After a shaky start, Cincinnati is starting to live up to the hype they had coming into the season. They could easily be 10-2 by the time they play Indy in December.
6. New England Patriots
Record: 5-2
Previous Ranking: 6
Tough road loss to the Jets, but few have made a strong enough move to pass them. Yet.
