The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Green Bay Packers at home tonight. This will be the final preseason game for both teams. Roster cuts from 75 to 53 happen shortly after. It’s time for guys to step up or be cut.

The Kansas City Chiefs rookies get a longer look this week. Most if not all of the starters won’t play this week. The starts mock game was played last Saturday. Those guys will get much-needed rest before the first regular season game on September 11.

The guys that will be on the field tonight are unproven rookies and some veterans looking to make the KC Chiefs 53-man roster. It might not be the most exciting game to watch but it’s important to have.

Fans should look for young guys to step up and make a name for themselves in this game. Guys on the defensive side of the football will be looked at the closest in my opinion. The Chiefs are looking for depth a cornerback and possibly safety. A giant need for depth is pass rushers as well.

Okay enough talk, let’s get down to business
