The Kansas City Chiefs have won three games in a row now, as they defeated the struggling New York Jets on Sunday by a score of 24-10. Yes, a win is a win, but the Chiefs still have areas that could use some work if they want to go into Buffalo next weekend and come out victorious.

In last week’s article, I said the Chiefs needed improvement on the offensive line, with the wide receivers, and getting Travis Kelce the ball more during the game. The offensive line had a decent game, only giving up one sack for three yards. They might not be seeing the list for only the third time this season. Alex Smith still hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass to a wide receiver so there’s that. Oh and Travis Kelce ended up with four receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown.

The Chiefs really looked pretty good, especially on defense. The KC pass defense is ranked as the best in the league and looked good on Sunday. I was very worried about this defense coming into the 2014 season and my worries increased when they made Jake Locker look like a Hall of Fame quarterback in week one. Since then though, they’ve been faring well.

Why don’t we take a look at what can be improved on for next week against the Buffalo Bills?
