KC Chiefs Mock Draft 4.0

Round 3: Pick 94 – Tommy Tremble, TE (Notre Dame)

. Tight End. Fighting Irish . Tommy Tremble. 94. player. 819

For years, the Kansas City Chiefs have neglected the backup tight end position and expected Travis Kelce to do everything. Fortunately, Kelce has remained healthy because otherwise (knock on wood), the Chiefs would be out of luck at tight end.

With the Chiefs re-signing Blake Bell, I don’t see them spending a third-round pick on a tight end, but maybe someone like Tommy Tremble would appeal to them because of what he can offer as a blocker.

Tremble’s numbers aren’t impressive, whatsoever, but he’s never been the guy at Notre Dame. He’s mostly been used as more of a blocker and with the Chiefs’ issues on their offensive line, having a blocking tight end would be a welcomed addition.

Kelce can continue to be the TE1, Bell can hopefully get more involved in his second stint with the Chiefs, and Tremble could hopefully get some targets as well. If nothing else, adding what would essentially be a sixth offensive lineman wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
