KC Chiefs Senior Bowl Standouts: Quinn Meinerz, IOL (University Wisconsin-Whitewater)

Quinn Meinerz made a name for himself, and a lot of money perhaps, with his performance at the Senior Bowl this year. Coming from the D3 level, there were obvious questions about his ability to compete against bigger competition and how that may translate to the higher levels.

In a resounding way, the questions were answered as the interior offensive line prospect was one of the most dominating players at the annual event.

The Chiefs so just happen to have a need along the offensive interior, and the small school player came to the Senior Bowl and took no prisoners. While there are bodies along the offensive line, there are plenty of questions as well and certainly, expect the Chiefs to add depth to that position group through the draft.

Meinerz is that versatile type prospect the Chiefs like having along their offensive line, having experience now playing both center and guard. Do the Chiefs want to go for the small school player at a spot, likely in the third round, or do they look to address depth later with a different player? He will be an interesting name to follow on the second day of the draft.
