1. Tennessee Titans

When I first decided to do this article, I didn’t think the Titans would be the team I’d have in the No. 1 spot, but here we are. The reason I have the Titans in the top spot is because of Derrick Henry and that explosive offense. Their defense is beatable, especially with Mahomes at the helm, but this matchup would have a strong chance to be a shootout and you never know how those are going to end.

Shootouts might seem to favor Mahomes and the Chiefs, but Ryan Tannehill is playing good football and will keep Tennessee in this game. Both defenses are shaky (though the Titans’ is definitely the worst unit) and while you’d think that’d make them an easier opponent, their offense more than makes up for it.

As I mentioned with the Colts, KC has a history with the Titans and it favors Tennessee for sure. The Chiefs always found the most bizarre ways to lose to the Titans until they finally took them down in the AFC Championship Game last year. That was a huge turning point for this franchise, but can they do it again on the biggest of stages?

Of all of the teams the Chiefs can host in the divisional round, the Titans would be the toughest because their offense is the only one out of this group that can go blow-for-blow with the Chiefs.
