KC Chiefs: What we learned about the AFC West after Week 16

What did we learn about the Los Angeles Chargers?

It would be such a Chargers thing to do to win out the rest of the season, finish at 7-9, and then keep Anthony Lynn for the 2021 season, wouldn’t it? That honestly could happen.

This wasn’t a great game for the Chargers but it was a win and Chargers fans will definitely take that. Justin Herbert continued to play well in the 19-16 victory, throwing for 253 yards and a touchdown while rushing for another 26 yards on the ground. He’s been the best part of this season for the Chargers and it’s not even up for debate.

What we learned about the Chargers is that they won’t have the stress of finding their quarterback this offseason, as Herbert has been tremendous. He might have a sophomore slump in 2021, but Los Angeles should be very excited about this kid. They haven’t had a quarterback controversy in over a decade, which must be nice.

Next up: The Chargers close out the regular season with a road game against the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. There’s a solid chance that KC has their backups in for most of this matchup so Los Angeles has a chance to finish their 2020 season on a high note.
