Demarcus Robinson

With Sammy Watkins out yet again, the Chiefs need another receiver to step up in order to help Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce get open more. Demarcus Robinson had just two catches for two yards in the Chiefs’ last game against Vegas and that’s not going to cut it this time around.

I’ll cut Robinson some slack for that Week 5 performance, as Watkins was active in that (that’s the game he got injured in), so there was an extra weapon on the field. Since Watkins has missed time due to injury, Robinson has been much better. He’s had two games with 60+ yards and has also scored both of his touchdowns during that stretch.

The Chiefs need Robinson to step up this week and I’ll definitely be watching to see how effective he is when the champs head to Las Vegas.

While the Kansas City Chiefs will still have a one-game lead in the AFC West even if they lose, winning this game is critical. Pride is one of those reasons, as the Chiefs can’t be swept by the Raiders. That’d just be embarrassing.

Secondly, it’d make things way too close for comfort in the race for the AFC West. The Chiefs have owned the division the past four years and they want to continue that notion in Week 11. Handing it to the Raiders would make Chiefs Kingdom feel pretty darn good about this team’s chances in January and February.
