Primetime and Divisional Dominance

There was a time where the Kansas City Chiefs used to struggle under the bright lights of primetime and especially on Sunday Night Football. That changed in 2016 and the Chiefs have been Sunday night stars ever since.

Not only are the Chiefs great in primetime, but they’ve been unstoppable against the AFC West in recent years. The Raiders handed KC their first divisional loss since 2018 and don’t think the Chiefs will forget that. They’ll be motivated to make sure they get back on the right track in the division and that includes avoid their first divisional sweep in six years.

This game won’t really affect the Chiefs when it comes to the AFC West race (assuming they continue to beat other teams), but this is for pride and to continue fighting for that No. 1 spot in the playoffs. A loss here could really make it difficult to get that No. 1 seed and it’d also allow the Raiders to climb one game shy of first place in the division.

To make sure that doesn’t happen, the Kansas City Chiefs need to take care of business on Sunday night. Hopefully this is an all-out blowout, but the Raiders have momentum and this is one of their biggest games in a long time, so you know they’ll be bringing everything they have to Sunday Night Football.

It should be a fun game and our hatred for the Raiders will grow even stronger as a result!
