4. Mitchell Schwartz

Is anyone else growing concerned with Mitchell Schwartz this season? A once near flawless right tackle looks like a shell of himself in 2020 and he’s been getting taken to the woodshed in a few games this year, which is a strange sight. I’m not sure if Schwartz is banged up more than we know or if teams are just going after him more, but something doesn’t feel right.

I mentioned in Ward’s section how everyone has a bad day at the office. It happens. As Dov Kleiman noted in the tweet above, however, it’s an every day thing for Schwartz now and for a right tackle who was once the best in the game at his position to now be struggling this much, that’s concerning.

Fortunately, there’s a long season ahead and Schwartz has time to turn his season around. Hopefully it starts this week when the Chiefs and Bills square off.

3. Demarcus Robinson

The Chiefs might have plenty of weapons offensively, but one that has been nearly invisible this season so far is Demarcus Robinson. To this point of the season, Robinson has just eight catches for 50 yards through five games and has only been targeted 15 times.

This needs to be a big game for Robinson because the Chiefs will be without Sammy Watkins for a few weeks and the offense needs more than just Tyreek Hill to step up this week. Robinson was re-signed to be a WR3/4 and he’s done very little so far. Time to up the ante.
