Fumbles McGee

The Raiders honestly haven’t been a bad team offensively in 2020, but what has been killing them so far is the amount of fumbles they’ve had through just four games. Derek Carr alone has accounted for five fumbles while losing four of those and as a result, he leads the leagues in fumbles.

The Chiefs have been great at taking the ball away, as they currently rank second in the league as far as takeaways go. If the defensive line and linebackers can get after Carr, make him uncomfortable, and force him into some bad fumbles and/or his first interception(s) of the season, that should result in a Chiefs victory.

Waller vs Mathieu

This sounds like a court case, but it’s a match-up we’re all going to zero in on for sure. Darren Waller has been a nice story for the Raiders and has been off to an expected start this season. While Waller is banged up and is questionable for this weekend’s game, the Raiders will be doing just about anything they can to make sure he’s starting this weekend and if he does, it’ll be up to Tyrann Mathieu to slow the big guy down.

Waller had 63 yards against the Chiefs in Week 2 last year and followed that up with 100 yards in Week 12. He didn’t find the end zone in either of those games, but Carr was definitely looking his way quite often and that’ll be the same story this week. The Honey Badger should hopefully be able to contain Waller and prevent him from having a big game.
