Round 5, Pick 175: Jack Wohlabaugh, OL (Duke)

Current Chiefs starting center Austin Reiter is an unrestricted free agent after this season and what his market would be remains to be seen.

Regardless, the Chiefs would be wise to bring in additional depth along the offensive interior, and Jack Wohlabaugh brings experience having played at Duke, but having originally signed and played with Ohio State. In short, he has experience playing in a variety of schemes, something that hopefully allows him able to contribute in short order.

As the Chiefs continue to shuffle their offensive line, there are a lot of variables to take into account. Does Laurent Duvernay-Tardif return next season? What happens with Lucas Niang? Does Austin Reiter re-sign?

Those are a lot of questions with no answers, at least not publicly known. The Chiefs in this scenario use two draft picks to add young depth to their offensive line to help fortify the skill positions already fortified.
