Fantasy Football Defenses/Special Teams to Target – Number 10: Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles. 10. player. 54. . D/ST. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles always seem to be a team with a good defense, at least for fantasy purposes. The year they won the Super Bowl saw their defense allow a ton of passing yards in the big game, but when push came to shove, they made plays when they needed to and that’s all that matters in fantasy football.

It’s about sacks and it’s about turnovers in fantasy and that’s why the Eagles are a great option defensively for your team. They added some talent this offseason, most notably Darius Slay, who is going to become that prime turnover forcer in Philly.

The Eagles already have Fletcher Cox, Derek Barnett, and Brandon Graham along their defensive line and that’s where the sacks will come from during the course of the season.

Because Philly hasn’t made mind blowing moves this offseason, they’ll probably be overlooked in fantasy drafts, giving you the perfect time to snatch them up in the tenth or 11th round.
