Les Miles shows himself the fool when he opened his mouth, not understanding what was coming.

There is nothing more showing of what has to be overcome and the ‘Miles to go’ (sorry, had to) than the ‘motivational’ speech KU head coach Les Miles gave his team that came out late last week.

In that speech, he asks his team ‘Who is KState?’  and it’s safe to say he’s not asking that now.

After winning two tough, hard earned conference games including an upset win over Oklahoma, the Wildcats were on thought to be overconfident. They wouldn’t be focused because they won.

Nevermind the Jayhawks were coming off two games against teams that don’t play defense and had their own, let’s call it interesting, emotional victory over Texas Tech.  Kansas was getting all the credit for staying close to Texas and for a win over Tech while K-State was punished for actually winning two games; big wins over big teams.

One team can out and opened a can on the other team. Stunningly, it was the team with the better coach and better players. Funny how that happens.
