Mecole Hardman is improving weekly.

This season we have seen Mecole Hardman‘s snap count start to decrease as the weeks go by.

It can be noted that the return of Tyreek Hill recently could factor in over the past couple weeks, but does not make sense for why he has seen the field less over the time he was gone. He has currently gone from seeing 78% of snaps to just 15% in last weeks game versus the Green Bay Packers.

Currently in his rookie season with the Chiefs, Hardman is producing at a high level already and continues to show off his speed and play-making abilities. His numbers currently set at:

  • Receptions: 20
  • Receiving Yards: 374
  • Touchdowns: 4

Hardman is currently averaging 18.7 yards per reception; A very impressive number for a first year player. The reasoning behind less snaps is unknown, but Andy Reid needs to find a way to get his young talent more playing time and a chance to showcase his play-making abilities more often.

While expecting guys like Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes to cover both Sammy Watkins and Tyreek Hill on the outsides, we should expect to see more from Mecole Hardman Sunday.
