WINNER: PASS RUSH

All week long, Chiefs Kingdom heard about how good the Detroit offensive line was and how Matthew Stafford had only been sacked three times all season. Well, the Chiefs pass rush heard those conversations loud and clear and came out swinging, sacking Stafford four times.

The four sacks each went to a different player: Chris Jones, Tyrann Mathieu, Derrick Nnadi, and Alex Okafor. It was disappointing not to see Frank Clark sniff the quarterback, but four sacks against what had been a pretty dominant offensive line is a win for the Chiefs pass rush.

WINNER: TRAVIS KELCE

Not only did Travis Kelce have a good game (though what else is new?), but he had a nice heads up play in the fourth quarter. After Patrick Mahomes had scrambled and kept the play alive, he connected with Kelce down the field. Kelce was about to get popped at that moment by a Lions defender, so he wisely tossed the football to LeSean McCoy, who made another nice gain out of it.

It was a wise decision by Kelce and helped keep the Chiefs afloat on that drive. The Chiefs tight end finished his day with seven catches for 85 yards.
