LOSER: CAMERON ERVING

It’s not easy being a left tackle in the NFL and Cameron Erving hasn’t been bad in his two games at the helm this season. That being said, Patrick Mahomes was hit eight times and a lot of those were Erving’s fault.

The offensive line only allowed one sack on the reigning MVP, but it’s going to be an uphill battle for Erving in that left tackle spot. Whether the Chiefs opt to eventually move Mitchell Schwartz over there from the right side is still up in the air, but Erving has to block better and keep Mahomes well-protected.

LOSER: FOURTH DOWN DEFENSE

The Ravens went for it on fourth down four times on Sunday and converted on all but one of those attempts. Every time, it felt like Lamar Jackson looked dead in the water until the Chiefs would fail to actually complete the tackle/sack and a receiver would make a crazy catch.

There are going to be a lot of games this year where fourth down will come into play for the other team and the Chiefs defense needs to be ready to stop them. Those fourth down conversions kept Baltimore in this game longer than they should have been.
