Kansas City Chiefs: Five most dangerous players in 2019
By Shade Piper
Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce is a fan favorite in Kansas City, but fan favorite doesn’t always equal top five most dangerous players. In this case, it does though.
If he wasn’t already considered the top tight end in your eyes, the retirement of Rob Gronkowski should pretty much solidify Kelce as the best tight end in the league in most peoples’ eyes. Kelce has three straight seasons of over 1,000 yards receiving and has 18 touchdowns in the past two seasons.
Kelce is a matchup nightmare and is a huge part of opposing teams’ game plans each and every week. This is what makes him so dangerous is the fact that he can completely dominate a game and shift the whole focus of a defense.
Kelce did have an offseason ankle surgery, but it was just a “clean-up” surgery, so it is nothing for Chiefs fans to be too worried about. The Chiefs will need him to be fully healthy for the offense to run at full force and solidify itself as the scariest offense in the league.
Kelce, as mentioned above, is a huge part of why the Chiefs offense was as good as it was last season. He is an incredible talent that Chiefs fans should be lucky to have on their side. Kelce is a pretty easy pick for this list of most dangerous Chiefs.
