Felton Davis, WR, Michigan State

Felton Davis III is one of the UDFAs that I was most interested in coming into camp. Davis has incredible hands and uses them to make incredible catches. He displayed these hands by making “the best catch of the entire minicamp” according to Kissel.

This catch was on an endzone fade where he jumped over a defender to make the catch. These type of catches aren’t a rarity either and were frequently made by Davis while at Michigan State, as you can see in the highlight video below.

Davis was projected to be a sixth-round selection by Lance Zierlein of NFL.com even despite coming off an Achilles tear.

I don’t know if he will make it onto the 53-man roster because of the previously mentioned receivers, but if he doesn’t make it in 2019 he could spend a year on the practice squad and have a great chance at a roster spot next season.
