MORE TARGETS

At linebacker, the best option left would be Mack Wilson out of Alabama. He was a leader of a great Alabama defense and will be excellent in coverage situations in the NFL, which is exactly the type of linebacker that the Chiefs need.

Wilson may go too early for the Chiefs though, so a more realistic option would be Terrill Hanks out of New Mexico State. He, like Mack, has great potential to be a difference maker on passing downs.

At tight end, one of my favorites at the position should be available late in the sixth round for the Chiefs to consider. That tight end is Alize Mack.

Mack is definitely more of a pass catcher than a blocker, but at minimum he could be as good as Demetrius Harris was in his role last season, and if he can develop his blocking abilities, he could be a starter in this league.

Running back is another position where one of my personal favorites should be available into the sixth round. This player is Rodney Anderson. Health is the only question for Anderson, but if healthy, he has the skill set to compete for the starting running back job for the Chiefs even as a rookie.

If Anderson isn’t available a guy like Bryce Love, a speedster like Karan Higdon, or even local product, Kansas State running back Alex Barnes could be running backs to consider. I also love Wes Hills who should be go undrafted, so if the Chiefs are unable to grab Anderson, they should consider not even drafting a running back and making Hills a priority free agent signing.
