NUMBER 1 – WEEK 2 AT PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Without a doubt, Mahomes’ best game of the 2018 season came in the second week against a team that had previously had KC’s number. The Steelers were always knocking off the Chiefs in heartbreaking fashion, but Mahomes gave no effs about any of that.

He went into the Steel City and had just five incompletions while throwing for 326 yards and a whopping six touchdowns. Those six scores gave Mahomes ten after just two games and he still hadn’t thrown an interception.

Throwing six touchdowns is a big accomplishment in itself, but to not throw an interception AND for it to be against a team that has previously broken the hearts of Chiefs fans, this had to be number one on the list of 2018 games.

The Steelers tried to make it interesting near the end, but Mahomes’ hot day made this a Chiefs victory. It was his best performance of his first year under center for the Kansas City Chiefs.
