After going 6-1 on the year, the Kansas City Chiefs had their week seven game against the Bengals flexed to the Sunday Night Football spot. That meant that Mahomes and his crew would be playing on Sunday night in back to back weeks.

This time, however, the game was at Arrowhead Stadium, and Mahomes was ready for the spotlight on his home turf.

Mahomes finished his first home primetime game going 28 of 39 for 358 yards, four touchdowns, and one pick. The Chiefs went on to blowout the Bengals in front of the entire country and Mahomes was as hot as he had ever been.

The reason this game isn’t higher is because it’s not one fans point to when discussing the 2018 season. That’s why it’s just outside the top five, but make no mistake, Mahomes was sensational against the Bengals for all the world to see.
