Houston Texans (11-5 record, 3rd overall seed)

Houston is a team that could cause the Chiefs some problems. Like the Chiefs, the Texans have one of the young and exciting talents at quarterback in Deshaun Watson. His ability to run and extend plays could create a ton of problems for the Chiefs woeful defense.

The player who should scare us most is wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. The physical freak had 115 receptions this year and zero, ZERO drops. That’s just insane.

By now we should all understand that when the Chiefs get into games against good quarterbacks, they’re going to have to win shootouts and hope the defense can come up with enough stops to win the game.

Like the Chiefs, the Texans are vulnerable in their secondary (look no further than Nick Foles big day two weeks ago) and that’s an area that Patrick Mahomes could easily attack.

If the Chiefs were to beat this team in Arrowhead in a few weeks (it’d have to be in the championship game, as KC can’t play the three-seed in the divisional round), they would need to double team Hopkins the entire game and force the Watson to beat them in other ways.
