SIT ‘EM

player. 124. . Running Back. Chiefs. Damien Williams. 1

With Spencer Ware doubtful for Thursday night, it’s Damien Williams‘ time to shine in a huge game for the Chiefs. While Williams is a former starter, this isn’t the time to roll the dice here and see if he pans out.

The Chargers defense is great and the Chiefs have mostly turned to airing the ball out since they released their running back a few weeks ago. If the Chargers get ahead early, Kansas City will abandon the run game and that means less touches from Damien Williams.

While Williams saw decent production last week against Baltimore, this is a very high risk, high reward type of situation. With the playoffs going on in most leagues, I wouldn’t let your team’s fate fall in the hands of a guy who hasn’t been a starter this season.

Hopefully the Chiefs give Williams some chances to break off some big runs, but he’s not a great option for fantasy football this late in the season.
