SIT ‘EM – RB

Peyton Barber. 2. player. 48. . Running Back. Buccaneers

Despite the hot tear that Peyton Barber has been on, I’d proceed with caution in week 13. The Bucs and Panthers go toe-to-toe for the second time this season and Barber didn’t fare too well against Carolina the first go around.

In that game, Barber had just 31 yards off of 11 carries. The Panthers have been a little more vulnerable on defense recently, but their run defense has been decent enough where Barber might see a similar performance to the one he did in week nine.

Barber has been a nice surprise this season for the Buccaneers and for fantasy footballers, but even with his hot streak over the last few weeks, I wouldn’t chance it this week. Carolina should be able to limit his production in a must-win game for the Panthers.

Also, with how poorly the Bucs defense has played this year, Cam Newton should have no problem putting up points on Tampa. If that’s the case, Barber won’t see many carries.
