SIT ‘EM – QB

Eli Manning. 1. player. 31. . Quarterback. Giants

In today’s pass-heavy NFL, the fact that Eli Manning hasn’t thrown for over 300 yards in his last three games goes to show much the former first overall pick has dropped off this year. The end looks to be near for Manning and those that have still gambled with him on their fantasy teams need to keep him as far away from the starting lineup as possible.

Manning isn’t great as it is, but this week, the Giants get the defensive savvy Bears. This match-up does not bode well for Manning, as the Bears have been rock solid against quarterbacks so far.

Fabiano notes,

"He’s likely to produce another mediocre (or worse) stat line against the Bears, who have surrendered a 78.3 passer rating an the second-fewest fantasy points (15.2 PPG) to enemy quarterbacks."

With bye weeks over with, there’s no real reason to have Manning on your team, even in two-quarterback leagues. Leave him on the bench this week. Better yet, drop him all together.
