START ‘EM – TE

. Tight End. Browns. David Njoku. 4. player. 53

This might be a surprising entry in the Start ‘Ems, but David Njoku could be a nice sleeper option this week. We all know that Baker Mayfield is sweeping the nation in Cleveland and that’s what makes Njoku a nice option this week.

The Raiders also have a not-so-great defense so Mayfield and Njoku have a chance to connect frequently in this one. Fabiano of NFL.com notes that Njoku runs a lot of routes out of the slot and that’s where Oakland has been exposed this year.

Njoku hasn’t done a ton yet, but once Mayfield got in the game last week, Njoku looked the best he has all season. With a weak Raiders defense and an exciting young quarterback in the game, Njoku is worth a start this week assuming you don’t have any of the top tight ends on your team.
