START ‘EM

player. 51. . D/ST. Rams. Los Angeles D/ST. 2

At this point, why would you sit the Rams defense? The unit has notched double digit points in all three games so far and look to be one of the best defenses in the entire league. It’s an even more appealing start this week after seeing the Buffalo Bills D tear the Vikings offense a new one.

Minnesota didn’t get on the board until late in the game last week and that was against a defense like Buffalo’s. Just imagine what Los Angeles could do to them.

The reason some might be wary of starting the Rams defense this week is because both Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib left last week’s game. Those are the two starting corners in LA and while that might be worrisome if this week’s game were against the Chargers or another high-powered offense, it’s against a Vikings team that just got taken to school by the lowly Buffalo Bills.

Even though Los Angeles is missing its two starting corners and it’s a short week, I’d still “risk” playing the Rams D this week.
