FIVE THINGS TO WATCH VS MICHIGAN

NUMBER 5 – CAN NEBRASKA PUT UP POINTS?

Not having Adrian Martinez out there last week was a huge difference, as the Husker offense couldn’t get anything going. They mustered up just 19 points against a school from the Sun Belt Conference.

Nineteen points isn’t going to cut it against the Michigan Wolverines. It’ll be problematic if the Huskers get behind early because I’m not sure they’ll be able to battle back against a worthy Big Ten foe.

A lot of this will depend on who is quarterbacking the offense this weekend. Martinez still might not play and while Andrew Bunch wasn’t awful last week, the Husker offense gels much better with Martinez taking the snaps. That’s usually the case with starting quarterbacks.

It’ll be interesting to see how Nebraska fares against a ranked opponent. If they can go toe-to-toe with the Wolverines, then maybe things might not be so bad this year.
