START ‘EM – TE

. Tight End. Raiders. Jared Cook. 4. player. 28

The Raiders started to gel more offensively last week and probably would have won the game if they had a solid pass rusher. Hmm. There’s an easy joke to be made there, but I’ll let it slide.

This week, the black and silver travel to Miami for a date with the Dolphins, who gave up over 330 yards through the air last week. Derek Carr looked good in week two, meaning he’ll be on the lookout for his tight end.

Jared Cook is off to a hot start, posting 229 off 13 receptions and he continues to be one of Carr’s more reliable targets. With the Dolphins getting torched through the air last week (and by Sam Darnold nonetheless), look for Cook and Carr to sync up frequently in this one.

Somehow I wound up with Cook in both of my fantasy leagues and I’ll be starting him in both this week. He should perform well against a mediocre Dolphins defense.
