FANTASY FOOTBALL DEEP SLEEPERS TO TARGET: NUMBER 11 – CHAD WILLIAMS

Chad Williams had an atrocious rookie season for the Arizona Cardinals, but year two could be more promising. The Cardinals will have a wide array of weapons, including future Hall of Fame receiver Larry Fitzgerald, rookie Christian Kirk, and Brice Butler.

That doesn’t include the likes of David Johnson and Ricky Seals-Jones, both of whom will see their fair share of targets from either Sam Bradford or rookie Josh Rosen. Williams has the opportunity to catch passes out of the slot, which could prove useful when it comes to fantasy football.

Williams appeared in just six games last year and only hauled in three receptions for 31 yards. Fifteen of those 31 yards came on one play. Hopefully Williams can only go up from here.

He’s not worth drafting, but like most deep sleepers, if you have a receiver or flex option get injured, Chad Williams could be worth adding. It’ll all depend on if he learns the offense better than he did a season ago and if the quarterbacks have good chemistry with him.
