Fantasy Football Top 10 D/ST

#10 Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs fell out of the top 10 fantasy defenses for the first time in quite a while last season. For four years straight they were a top 5 defense when fantasy points were concerned. There is plenty of concern for fantasy owners when it comes to picking Kansas City, there are also plenty of upsides.

The Chiefs ended as a middle of the pack defense last season. There were games they scored plenty of points and games where they scored none. Very little action in between. Peters, Johnson, and Hali are gone off that squad and newbies Fuller and Hitchens are in. The Chiefs drafted well on the defensive side of the ball, so the unknown factor plays a role.

2017 ranking: 16th

Eric Berry being back on the field means a difference of night and day. He is the backbone of the bend-but-don’t-break defense. The Chiefs should return to their top 10 ways this season. This is definitely a defense you want after the first six weeks of the season.

Tyreek Hill has a chance to improve the fantasy points with his punt returns alone.
