2018 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft

Chicago Bears – Chris Taylor

Cornerback. Iowa. Josh Jackson. 8. player. 57.

This was a tough one. The Bears are much like the Colts here, they need a lot of help in various places. They decide to go with Josh Jackson for one reason: He gives them an impressive secondary that is loaded with talent and depth. If the Bears were to go any other route, they wouldn’t find dominance in any position on the field.

Chicago can find quality lineman well into the later rounds and still have options in free agency. Expect Chicago to be major players when cuts start to happen in the preseason.

Staff Reaction: The Bears re-signed Kyle Fuller and Prince Amukamara to go along with their high-quality nickel, Bryce Callahan. They need offensive line help and Quenton Nelson fits perfectly in this spot. – Scott Steehn
